Financier is said to derive from its rectangular shape, resembling a gold bar. Another saying suggests its popularity originated in the financial district near the Paris Stock Exchange, earning it the nickname "gold bar cake."
We adhere to tradition by exclusively using only egg whites in our Financier recipe, resulting in a texture that is distinctly different from Madeleines. Furthermore, we love to create flavour layering by using a variety of nuts, hoping to bring everyone a delightful experience.
